"I see Blue Ventures as a research and development company, incubating and diffusing community conservation innovations. Our portfolio takes innovation to the extreme - from temporary fishery closures and sea cucumber aquaculture to community-based health services and the application of customary laws for locally-led marine resource management – across all of our projects we're breaking new ground time and time again. As a small NGO we aim to maximise our impact by developing models that can be scaled through partnerships with others."
