Independent Researchers and Medical Elective Application

Costs:

  • £22.50 per day (includes accommodation and all meals)
  • Please add a supplement of 10% if you want your own hut; or for two people sharing, please add 5% each.
  • One-off bench fee of £75 per person covering the support of Blue Ventures staff for project guidance, translation, medical and logistical support and pastoral care.

Before you apply:

  • All projects must be approved by a Blue Ventures Research Scientist and a Blue Ventures Director.
  • If you wish to scuba dive you will need DAN insurance.

*Prices are for courses alongside expedition volunteers. If you wish to take a dive course separately, the cost for Open Water is £175 and Advanced Open Water is £150.
