Sylvia has a passion for development work. She was awarded the Developing Countries Partnership Scholarship and has a Masters degree in Environmental Science from Sebelas Maret University (Indonesia). She has a strong interest in Environmental Policy and for her Masters degree her research focused on REDD+ and community participation, with one of Indonesia's demonstration project in Central Kalimantan. She has spent the last four years in South East Asia and worked as a volunteer with the Baan Unrak Project, and completed an Internship with the Mangrove Action Project in Thailand before joining Blue Ventures. She likes biking, reading, playing badminton and Blogging.
